Stainless Steel Motors-SWAN II Series - Three Phase

For pharmaceutical, poultry, beef, pork, dairy, bakery, snack foods, bottling, chemical applications and other environments that require extreme cleaning and frequent washdowns, AA offers three new classes of three stainless steel motors, classified as the SWAN, DOLPHIN, and the NAUTILUS. It's well known that nothing stands up to a wet corrosive environment as well as stainless steel. That's why stainless steel washdown duty motors are the preferred motor for the most challenging environments.

SWAN II Series Features:

4 quadrant drain holes on both endshields
NEMA frames are inverter capable of 30-70HTZ
Double VPI winding treatment
Anti-Fungal winding treatment and anti-Moisture treatment
Anti Bacterial internal components treatment
Class "B" temp rise @ 1.15 (TEFC models)
All Fasteners SAE (for NEMA frame)
E-pact rated efficiency

High quality 304 stainless welded steel frame
High quality 304 stainless steel endshields
Motor grade 6200 series sealed bearings on both ends
Shaft extension has radius instead of undercut at the journal
Frame and endshields rabbeted for better seal, durability and accurate rotor alignment
Scratch resistant nameplate data printed (not etched) into frame to prevent corrosive and bacterial buildup on nameplate
Shaft seals on both ends of TEFC models
